HE3DA manufactures lithium 3D batteries of a unique design. They offer higher capacity, low internal resistance, economical production costs and maximum safety. This new, modern 3D battery concept is the only route to higher capacity, and it also enables the safe storage of energy at the level of hundreds of megawatts.

Lithium-ion batteries with thick electrodes made of a nanomaterial with a specific structure

HE3DA ® technology does not use conventional electrodes applied in a thin layer of a few micrometres onto a foil, but instead substantially thicker electrodes, up to several millimetres thick. The ability to cool the interior of the cell with electrolyte and to regenerate it increases the cell’s service life and reduces the size of the battery modules.
