Last week, Czech fashion designer Lada Vyvialová opened the first showroom of her sustainable designer fashion brand LADA. The highlight of the grand opening was the unveiling of the LIN summer collection, which, alongside ultra-light and airy nano designs, also features timeless linen pieces. At LADA, summer 2024 unfolds in tones of beige, soft pink and white.

The collection’s novelty is the use of linen fabric which, like the nanomaterial so typical of Lada, is produced in the Czech Republic on the principle of sustainability. The Linna linen trio: a fitted blazer, originally cut trousers and a minimalist dress, dominates the entire collection alongside the fine Etrino merino shorts. They complement the ultra-light summer nano designs with outfits for year-round wear.

This time, exceptionally for the brand, the collection moves away from its traditional focus on dresses – LIN includes just a single KISS dress. It showcases the luxurious Lux nanomaterial with a self-cleaning lotus effect, which prevents dirt from settling on the dress and allows any liquids to run off it easily.

For hot summer weather, Lada also presented in the new showroom in Prague 1 a variation of pleated skirts, a top with asymmetric sleeves and a backless top. The colour combinations of the powdery shades in Lada’s designs evoke a summer idyll and recall the swirls of soft-serve ice cream. Everything is made from the lightweight Chyt nanomaterial which, like the aforementioned Lux, boasts innovative properties that make the designs exceptionally functional and antibacterial, eliminating odours and offering a UV filter. The added value, which further reinforces Lada’s emphasis on sustainability, is a significant reduction in garment care requirements and lower energy and water consumption. 

The new collection is available exclusively at the LADA showroom in Prague and the studio in Příbor. The general public will be able to purchase the LIN collection in the e-shop from July 2024.
