Prague, Czech Republic – 15 April 2024
The Czech innovative company Nanopharma exhibited at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, one of the largest cosmetics trade fairs in the world. This year’s show was attended by 3,012 exhibitors from 69 countries. Bologna welcomed 248,500 visitors from 150 countries. The Czech Nanotechnology Industries Association supported the event and provided patronage for talks with representatives of the Italian cosmetics association and the Consulate of the Czech Republic.
Nanopharma, a.s. specialises in so-called dry nanofibre preservative-free cosmetics. This is a highly innovative yet sustainable technology for facial masks. When the nanofibres come into contact with moistened skin, they dissolve, initiating an intensive transfer of vitamins and active substances. Almost all of the active substances pass from the nanomembrane into the skin by diffusion, which is an advantage over creams and serums, where a considerable proportion of the active substances ends up not in the skin but as waste. Another advantage of these dry nanofibre masks is their very simple application.
Under the patronage of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic, representatives of the Czech Nanotechnology Industries Association also met with the Italian cosmetics association Cosmetica Italia at the Cosmoprof fair. The aim of the talks was to arrange a joint seminar on the topic of nanotechnologies applied in the cosmetics industry, to be held in July 2024 in Milan, which will further support the transfer of Czech technologies abroad.
