The project proposal for the Bavarian-Czech Nanotechnology Centre, jointly submitted by the Czech Nanotechnology Industries Association and Nanonetz Bayern to the INTERREG Bavaria–Czechia 2021–2027 programme, has been successfully selected for funding.
The aim of the project, supported by the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget of the Czech Republic, is to build a strong cross-border network linking science, the economy and policy. It will offer stakeholders on both sides of the border greater visibility, new opportunities to exchange experience and tangible opportunities for collaboration.
The project will establish two contact points in the Czech-Bavarian border region – at the European Centre for Dispersion Technologies (EZD) in Selb and at the company nanoSPACE in Domažlice. These centres will serve as starting points for organising regular professional events, meetings and networking activities.
The project will thus make a significant contribution to the development of the nanotechnology sector in the region and strengthen cross-border collaboration between the Czech Republic and Bavaria.
