V letošním ročníku soutěže CHYTRÁ MĚSTA 2022 zvítězil v kategorii Osobnost pro soukromý sektor Jiří Kůs, předseda Asociace nanotechnologickému průmyslu a zakladatel nanoSPACE s.r.o.. Porazil tak generálního ředitele ČEZ EZSCO, a.s., Filipa Maleňáka z Aplikace Záchranka i zakladatele společnosti Prusa Research a.s.

“I really did not expect to win, but I greatly appreciate it, because the concept of smart cities has long been a key topic at the Czech Nanotechnology Industries Association,” explains Jiří Kůs.
The candidates were assessed by the competition’s expert jury, made up of 29 specialists in the Smart City field. The members of the expert jury comprised representatives of the public sector, municipalities, technology leaders in the Smart City field and academia.
In addition to the Smart City Personality, winners of further categories from the private and public sectors were also announced.

● Project for a municipality of up to 10,000
● Project for a town of up to 50,000
● Project for a city of up to 200,000
● Project for a city of over 200,000
● Project for a region
● Project for a country
● International project

● Waste management
● Water management
● ICT
● Public administration
● Other
As in the previous year, the winners of the individual categories received awards in ten core categories. At the same time, prominent figures from both the public and private sectors will also be recognised.
