Jednou z\u00a0mo\u017enost\u00ed je p\u016fsobit na prost\u0159ed\u00ed, v\u00a0n\u011bm\u017e n\u00e1dor roste. Badatel\u00e9 Washingtonsk\u00e9 univerzity v\u00a0St. Louis vyvinuli hned dva postupy v\u00fdroby nano\u010d\u00e1stic uhli\u010ditanu v\u00e1penat\u00e9ho, b\u011b\u017en\u00e9 chemick\u00e9 l\u00e1tky, kter\u00e1 se pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 jako antacidum, prost\u0159edek ke sn\u00ed\u017een\u00ed kyselosti \u017ealudku. Kdy\u017e v\u011bdci vp\u00edchli tyto nano\u010d\u00e1stice do \u017e\u00edly my\u0161\u00edm s\u00a0n\u00e1dorem, tak do\u0161lo k\u00a0poklesu kyselosti n\u00e1doru a k\u00a0zadr\u017een\u00ed jeho r\u016fstu. Jednotliv\u00e9 prvky t\u00e9to m\u0159\u00ed\u017eky m\u011b\u0159\u00ed kolem 200 nanometr\u016f a cel\u00e1 m\u0159\u00ed\u017eka se vejde do pouh\u00fdch 5 mikrometr\u016f. Vytvo\u0159ili ji ze skeln\u00e9ho uhl\u00edku (glassy carbon) pomoc\u00ed technologie 3D laserov\u00e9 litografie a n\u00e1sledn\u011b ji zpracovali pyrol\u00fdzou. Podobn\u00e9 metamateri\u00e1ly jsou b\u011b\u017en\u00e9 v\u00a0p\u0159\u00edrod\u011b, kde \u010dasto tvo\u0159\u00ed lehk\u00e9 konstrukce schopn\u00e9 odol\u00e1vat velk\u00e9mu zat\u00ed\u017een\u00ed \u2013 jako nap\u0159\u00edklad kosti nebo d\u0159evo. V\u011bdci \u0161v\u00e9dsk\u00e9ho KTH Royal Institute of Technology proto vyvinuli novou metodu v\u00fdroby takov\u00fdch nanoprasklin ve velk\u00e9m. P\u0159en\u00e1\u0161\u00ed se hlavn\u011b kontaminovanou vodou a j\u00eddlem, tak\u017ee mus\u00ed zvl\u00e1dat pr\u016fchod lidskou tr\u00e1vic\u00ed soustavou. Na Kalifornsk\u00e9 univerzit\u011b v\u00a0Davise se toho rozhodli rafinovan\u011b vyu\u017e\u00edt v\u00a0n\u00e1\u0161 prosp\u011bch. Pou\u017eili k\u00a0tomu osv\u011bd\u010den\u00e9 \u0159et\u011bzce DNA, s\u00a0nimi\u017e lze pracovat jako se stavebnic\u00ed. Z\u00a0DNA si vyrobili \u010dty\u0159st\u011bnn\u00e9 nanoklece o velikosti p\u00e1r des\u00edtek nanometr\u016f, do kter\u00fdch pak polapili nano\u010d\u00e1stice zlata. Z\u00a0takto pochytan\u00fdch nano\u010d\u00e1stic v\u00a0klec\u00edch pak poskl\u00e1dali po\u017eadovanou strukturu. A pro\u010d vlastn\u011b skl\u00e1dat nano\u010d\u00e1stice zlata jako uhl\u00edk v\u00a0diamantu? Tenhle inkoust lze vytisknout na rozmanit\u00e9 typy pap\u00edru, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e nano\u010d\u00e1stice jsou tak mal\u00e9, \u017ee pros\u00e1knou do miniaturn\u00edch p\u00f3r\u016f v\u00a0povrchu pap\u00edru. Takto vyti\u0161t\u011bn\u00e9 nano\u010d\u00e1stice nelze zachytit pouh\u00fdm okem, je ale mo\u017en\u00e9 je detekovat pomoc\u00ed jejich optick\u00fdch a magnetick\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed.
