Jejich syst\u00e9m funguje uvnit\u0159 \u017eiv\u00e9 bu\u0148ky a je\u0161t\u011b interaguje s\u00a0\u0159et\u011bzci mRNA, kter\u00e9 vyr\u00e1b\u00ed samotn\u00e1 bu\u0148ka transkripc\u00ed. Ale nevzd\u00e1v\u00e1me to. Na Coloradsk\u00e9 univerzit\u011b v\u00a0Boulderu vyrobili zbra\u0148 proti superodoln\u00fdm mikrob\u016fm z\u00a0popul\u00e1rn\u00edch kvantov\u00fdch te\u010dek. Kvantov\u00e9 te\u010dky jsou vlastn\u011b nanokrystaly, kter\u00e9 maj\u00ed vlastnosti polovodi\u010de. Pom\u011brn\u011b snadno je lze vytvo\u0159it tak, \u017ee je aktivuje sv\u011btlo o ur\u010dit\u00e9 vlnov\u00e9 d\u00e9lce. Zlato s\u00a0nanop\u00f3ry se obvykle vyr\u00e1b\u00ed specifick\u00fdm procesem koroze slitiny (dealloying), p\u0159i n\u011bm\u017e ve zlat\u011b vznik\u00e1 trojrozm\u011brn\u00e1 s\u00ed\u0165 nanop\u00f3r\u016f. Tento postup m\u00e1 ale sv\u00e1 omezen\u00ed. Badatel\u00e9 laborato\u0159\u00ed Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) pou\u017eili laserov\u00e9 mikroobr\u00e1b\u011bn\u00ed, s\u00a0jeho pomoc\u00ed jako prvn\u00ed vytvo\u0159ili p\u0159ehl\u00eddku r\u016fzn\u00fdch typ\u016f zlata s\u00a0nanop\u00f3ry na jedin\u00e9m \u010dipu. Ovl\u00e1d\u00e1n\u00ed sv\u011btla v\u00a0nanom\u011b\u0159\u00edtku je ale st\u00e1le velmi obt\u00ed\u017en\u00e9. V\u011bdci z\u00a0IFCO \u2013 Institutu fotonick\u00fdch v\u011bd ve \u0161pan\u011blsk\u00e9 Barcelon\u011b spolu s\u00a0kolegy navrhuj\u00ed vyu\u017e\u00edt nanoelektromechanick\u00e9 syst\u00e9my (MEMS). Poda\u0159ilo se jim vyvinout v\u016fbec prvn\u00ed hybridn\u00ed \u010dip, kter\u00fd obsahuje stabiln\u00ed jednofotonov\u00e9 z\u00e1\u0159i\u010de \u2013 dus\u00edkov\u011b vakan\u010dn\u00ed centra (nitrogen-vacancy centres, NVC), a grafenov\u00fd nanoelektromechanick\u00fd syst\u00e9m, p\u0159ipojen\u00fd p\u00e1r des\u00edtek nanometr\u016f nad t\u011bmito centry. K\u00a0\u010demu m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt takov\u00e1 v\u011bc u\u017eite\u010dn\u00e1? Badatel\u00e9 americk\u00e9ho N\u00e1rodn\u00edho institutu pro standardy a technologie (NIST) pracuj\u00ed u\u017e asi dvacet let na technologii nanop\u00f3rov\u00e9ho \u010dten\u00ed DNA. \u0158et\u011bzec DNA p\u0159i n\u011bm proch\u00e1z\u00ed nanop\u00f3rem, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e se nepatrn\u011b m\u011bn\u00ed elektrick\u00fd proud. N\u00e1pad je to skv\u011bl\u00fd, v\u011bdci ale bojuj\u00ed s\u00a0ru\u0161iv\u00fdm elektrick\u00fdm \u0161umem a nedostate\u010dnou selektivitou nanop\u00f3r\u016f. Lid\u00e9 NIST proto pracuj\u00ed na revolu\u010dn\u00edm \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed, kter\u00e9 zahrnuje grafen a tvorbu do\u010dasn\u00fdch chemick\u00fdch vazeb sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed DNA s\u00a0grafenem.
