Na Texask\u00e9 univerzit\u011b vyvinuli technologii litografie pomoc\u00ed bublinov\u00e9ho pera (bubble-pen lithography), kter\u00e1 usnad\u0148uje pr\u00e1ci s\u00a0nano\u010d\u00e1sticemi, a\u0165 u\u017e jsou ze zlata, k\u0159em\u00edku, nebo jin\u00fdch materi\u00e1l\u016f. O grafenu u\u017e leccos v\u00edme, nikdo ale zat\u00edm nezkoumal, jak takov\u00e9 struktury z\u00a0grafenu navz\u00e1jem propojit. Pokud ale chceme vyr\u00e1b\u011bt v\u00fdkonnou, ohebnou a levnou elektroniku zalo\u017eenou na grafenu, tak se takov\u00e9mu propojov\u00e1n\u00ed nevyhneme. T\u00fdm japonsk\u00e9 Univerzity Tohoku te\u010f jako prvn\u00ed usp\u011bl ve vytvo\u0159en\u00ed chemicky propojen\u00fdch grafenov\u00fdch nanop\u00e1sek (nanoribbons). Filtrac\u00ed z\u00e1chod z\u00edsk\u00e1v\u00e1 \u010distou vodu a zbyl\u00fd materi\u00e1l spaluje, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e vytv\u00e1\u0159\u00ed energii.
